Thrive Career Coaching Accelerator
What can I expect to get out of this program?
Thrive is not a “done for you” service. We teach you the frameworks so that you can do the work for yourself (you know, the whole “teach a man to fish” philosophy). There is a 3-step framework and 6 modules that we’ll move through over the 12 week period, where you will get training, teaching and transformations in each module.
The first week, you will go through the module at your own pace and complete the downloadable workbooks and templates that are included with each of the frameworks. The second week, we will hold our office hours call. At any point during the two weeks, you may ask questions and chat with us via email, Voxer, or hop in the private Facebook group for peer masterminding and community support.
At the end of our time together, you will have professional branding documents that cover your career story and effective career marketing documents that showcase your impressive experience, education, and expertise. You will also learn valuable leadership, networking, interview, and negotiation strategies that will prepare you for a career transition within the next 3-9 months.
What do I do first?
We will send the onboarding documents and invoice as soon as you join. Once you complete these documents, we will email you a link to the client portal along with your username and password. This typically takes 24 hours. From there, you will download your welcome packet, do your “pre work” and schedule your first 1:1 call where we will work together to create your customized career roadmap.
Can I request additional 1:1 coaching calls?
1-1 coaching calls are rewards-based. For example, if you have an interview, you will earn a 30‐minute call to prepare as well as a 30‐minute call afterwards to identify where you need to pivot and make adjustments. If you receive an offer, you will earn another 30-minute call to go over your salary negotiation strategy.
There are two non-reward based calls during the 12 week program. The first call is to create your customized career roadmap (you schedule this right after you complete your intake documents) and the second is a conversation of your choice that you can “redeem” at any point during the program. Aside from these two 1:1 calls, you also get to participate in the bi-weekly office hours calls.
How do the office hours calls work?
All of our bi-weekly office hours calls and any 1:1 coaching sessions you’ve earned are held via Zoom unless otherwise noted. Office hours calls are meant to be a very interactive experience, so please bring questions and be prepared to participate. If you can’t make a live call, you can access a recording afterwards in the course classroom.
How do I find the Facebook group?
There is a private Facebook group that is just for Thrive participants; you can find it here. If you post a question in the group, you will get a response within 24 hours. You are encouraged to use this platform to connect, network, ask questions, and review topics discussed in the modules.
Is my information kept confidential?
Though the calls are recorded, the recordings will be provided to you. We will not divulge the specific details of our session, not your personal information without your consent. Our sessions together are a safe place for you to be open, honest and ask whatever questions needed to help you succeed.
How do I reach out if I have a question or concern during the program?
During the duration of our time together, you can expect a response to any email you send within 24-36 hours. We are here for you. Email support@nextlevelcareer.co for direct access. We will also be using the Voxer app to communicate outside of our coaching sessions. This free app provides instant voice communication along with text, photos and videos.
Please note: we practice healthy boundaries and work life balance. Our general office hours are Mon-Fri 12PM-9PM EST (excluding holidays) but you can still reach out anytime. If emailing an urgent request, please put URGENT in the subject line for a quicker response.
How do payments work?
All payments are due on the stated date as listed in your contract. However we know that sometimes things come up. You will be notified immediately if a payment fails for any reason. If this happens more than once, your access to the course portal will be disabled until the issue is resolved.
What if I am dissatisfied?
If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please reach out ASAP to support@nextlevelcareer.co. The sooner we know about an issue, the easier it is for us to find an acceptable solution to make it right.
Attending the LIVE Calls
Prepare your topic ahead of time and have a SPECIFIC question that you want to be coached on. Make sure you can explain your question in 60 seconds or less.
Make sure you are in a distraction free environment, ready to get coached. This is YOUR time to get the most out of this program and take action for your career and life. If you are not being coached, listen to the coaching and how it can be applied to YOU and your career. Be responsible for getting what you came for from every single call. Train your brain to understand the content. The more you repeatedly learn the same concepts, the less confused your brain will be. The more likely you will be to take action and get the transformation.
Challenge your brain when it believes other tasks in your day are more important than being on the call. Your brain will offer you lots of great reasons to not show up. Notice them all, and then take charge.
If you would like to be coached, make sure you have a quiet background with good lighting, and are readily available when called on.
The calls will last about one hour, but we reserve the right to go over when finishing with a student. You can simply hang up at any time and listen to anything you missed in the replay.
